The Nesting Place is now.....

I am very pleased to announce that in June 2012 I purchased The Nesting Place (Grapevine, TX) from Kay Willis RN, IBCLC.

My name is Liz Pevytoe. I have been a registered nurse since 1995 and a board certified lactation consultant since 2003. I have two daughters, Emma was born in 2000 and Abby was born in 2004. I am married to a Keller Firefighter. We live in Keller but have a 1/2 acre urban farm with 5 goats, 4 chickens, 4 ducks, 1 chihuahua and some 100,000 worms. Yes, worms. I own and operate (all by myself, the hubby hates worms) BigTex Worms , a worm composting business. I'm a bit crunchy. :)

Kay and I have been colleagues going on 10 years. We have long referred clients to each other when we needed coverage. I taught classes for Kay some 8 years ago in her retail space in Grapevine before launching my own private practice.

So, when she called me in May to ask if I would be interested in buying her business so she could retire, I was happy to do just that.

Beginning June 2012 I will begin providing the same services to her clients and referrals with the exception of CPR classes. I will offer lactation consultations, childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes and baby care basics classes. I will offer both group and private classes to best meet your needs. Although I will not keep the name The Nesting Place, I will continue to offer exemplary service just as Kay has for over a decade.
