Medela Freestyle Breast Pump Review

The Medela Freestyle Breastpump had women all over the world excited. Why? Hands Free pumping, that is why.
The thought of being able to be hands free while pumping is very appealing, especially if you consider the average working mom spends 2-3 hours per day pumping. YIKES.

But unfortunately this pump has left a lot to be desired. I have seen much inconsistency with the quality of the pump and it' ability to effectively empty the breast. And until I see that it is delivering great results, I simply will not recommend this particular model pump.

As an alternative, you can turn any double electric breastpump into a hands free pump with a pump bra.



With a pumping bra you can use one of the pumps I recommend: hygeia, ameda or the medela pump in style.
